Website service status
Our website displays resort information, prices and policies. Online purchases and reservations are not yet available. Call 079 437 5352 for visit, room or hire arrangements. These terms explain the services we offer and the rules for using this website. They do not retrospectively change an existing paid agreement.
Who we are
The resort is operated by Mangam Investment Trust (Pty) Ltd, a South African private company registered under number 2017/206692/07, trading as Mangam Resort & Guesthouse. Misheck Mangarateke is the sole director.
The resort is on Molefe Makinta Highway, Soshanguve, 0152, Gauteng, South Africa. Map coordinates: -25.4131501, 28.1457101. Written enquiries: enquiries@mangamresort.co.za.
Website: https://mangamresort.co.za. For bookings, refunds, changes or complaints, call or WhatsApp 079 437 5352. For privacy and record-access matters, call and ask for Misheck Mangarateke, Information Officer, or email enquiries@mangamresort.co.za. See our privacy request information.

Entrance and other services
| Ticket or add-on | Ordinary summer price | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Adult entrance, age 13 or older | R100 per person | Entrance for the chosen date, subject to facility safety restrictions |
| Child entrance, ages 3–12 inclusive | R70 per child | Entrance and access to designated children's pools, subject to their safety rules |
| Child aged 0–2 inclusive | Free | Must be counted in the visiting group; accompanying adults need their own tickets |
| Cooler box | R50 per box | One cooler box for the chosen date; no maximum quantity or size; contents rules below apply |
| Business seller, without trailer | R200 per person | One person's entrance and armband, plus permission to sell if approved at the on-site check |
| Business seller, with trailer | R400 per person | One person's entrance and armband with a trailer, plus permission to sell if approved at the on-site check; this replaces the R200 category for that seller |
| Event ticket | Price shown for the event | Event access and entrance for the stated date; check the event's included services and conditions |
Helpers require their own paid admission and armbands. A seller's ticket does not admit a group of helpers. A trailer does not create another person's admission.
Summer runs from 1 September to 30 April. Winter runs from 1 May to 31 August. On ordinary winter days, adult entrance is R60, child entrance for ages 3–12 is R40 and a cooler box is R30. On South African public holidays, including observed public holidays, adult entrance is R120 and child entrance for ages 3–12 is R70 in either season. The cooler-box charge follows the season: R50 in summer and R30 in winter, including public holidays. Children aged 0–2 remain free, and business seller prices are unchanged. Your visit date determines the applicable seasonal or public-holiday rate. Separately ticketed events use their own clearly displayed terms. The agreed rate for your visit controls your booking; later price changes do not rewrite a paid booking.
Parking is normally free. Any event parking charge must be clearly disclosed before purchase.
Tent, lapa, gazebo, shade, VIP area, venue and guesthouse prices are displayed for enquiries. Call 079 437 5352 to enquire about availability and arrangements. These services cannot be booked or paid for on this website. Buying an entrance or event ticket does not reserve any of these facilities or a guesthouse room.
Shade and chairs are limited. Please bring your own shade and camp chairs. Entrance does not reserve seating or shade. Do not rely on resort availability when planning your visit.
Dates, hours and booking
Normal resort hours are 09:00–21:00, Monday to Sunday. Online sales are not available on this website. Events may have different hours, which will be stated in their announcements. Times use South African time, Africa/Johannesburg.
The daily visitor ticket limit is 3,500, including paying visitors, free children, complimentary admissions, business sellers/helpers and event visitors. On-duty staff are excluded from this ticket quota. Safety instructions and any applicable lawful premises limits still apply.
When arranging a visit, include everyone in your group, including free children. Use each person's age on the visit date for the price band. This website does not collect children's names, birth dates or identity documents. Pool safety restrictions are separate from the ticket price band; an adult-priced ticket does not remove a facility's safety restrictions.
The person making the booking must have legal capacity to enter the agreement. A responsible adult must arrange and supervise children's attendance. If you are buying for other people, share the visit information and relevant rules with them before arrival. Contact us if you need help understanding a condition before paying. English is the authoritative version; any helper translations should explain the same conditions.
Payments and admission
This website currently provides information only. It cannot accept a payment, hold a place, confirm a booking or issue an admission ticket. Contact us to arrange a visit and confirm the applicable payment and admission arrangements. Never send bank passwords, PINs or one-time passwords.
If you believe you have paid but have not received the agreed confirmation, keep your reference and contact us before paying again. We investigate and correct duplicate confirmed charges where due. Follow entrance staff's admission and armband instructions. An armband may not be shared or transferred to another person. Contact management about transfers or re-entry; neither is automatic.
Online checkout, group QR tickets, wallet passes and automated delivery are being prepared. They are not available through this website. Before online sales open, the applicable purchase and delivery terms will be supplied for review before payment.
Selling at the resort
Accepted trader categories are food stalls, photographers, merchandise sellers and pool-goods sellers. Food must be prepared safely without connecting to the resort's electricity. Anyone selling illegal substances is refused. These categories remain subject to management's on-site operational and safety check; payment for a business ticket does not guarantee permission to trade. Explain what you intend to sell and bring any permissions legally required for that activity.
If management rejects your business at this check, the affected business ticket is refunded in full. No cancellation or processing deduction is taken from that refund. You may not trade after refusal. Your staff/helpers each need their own admission; any associated unused-ticket refund will be addressed according to the service actually supplied and applicable rights.
Businesses may not connect to any resort electricity supply. No paid electricity option is available. A business ticket does not grant a food-trading, alcohol-sales or other statutory licence, and does not override safety or local trading requirements.
Park rules and safety
Swimming and water activities can cause serious injury or drowning. Wet surfaces can cause slips and falls. Read and follow the safety notices at each facility. Ask staff for help if a rule is unclear.
- Responsible adults must supervise children continuously and keep them in permitted areas. A ticket or armband is not proof of swimming ability.
- Do not run on wet pool surrounds, push others, dive where prohibited or use an attraction contrary to its posted restrictions.
- Do not enter closed areas or use an attraction after staff stop it for safety. Tell staff promptly about hazards, injuries or a missing person.
- Do not bring glass, guns/weapons or illegal substances. Outside food is allowed for personal use; selling requires a business ticket and the on-site approval described above.
- Permitted BYO alcohol must be in cans inside a paid cooler box. Responsible consumption is permitted only outside pool areas and where allowed by applicable law and the resort's operating permissions. Do not swim or use water attractions while impaired. Underage drinking or supply to minors is prohibited.
- Pets are not allowed. Assistance animals accompanying a person with a disability are accommodated subject to applicable access rights and a safe, respectful arrangement; contact staff for assistance.
- Do not threaten, harass, abuse or endanger others. Staff may stop unsafe conduct, restrict an attraction or require a person to leave for a lawful safety reason.
By seeking entry, you agree to reasonable bag/cooler/trailer checks with your consent. Staff should explain the check and respect your dignity. If you decline a necessary check or bring a prohibited item, management may refuse entry lawfully. Arrange removal of the item; these terms do not give staff a power to force a search or automatically confiscate property. Suspected criminal matters may be referred to the police.
Refunds after refusal or removal are considered under the Refund Policy and applicable law. Serious misconduct does not create an automatic right to a full refund, but these rules do not impose an automatic forfeiture regardless of the circumstances.
Risks, interruptions and your rights
You acknowledge the explained risks of water recreation and agree to follow reasonable safety instructions. Mangam remains responsible for its legal safety and service duties. This acknowledgement does not excuse gross negligence or exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. It does not act as a blanket indemnity for injury.
Weather, power or other hazards may require temporary safety pauses or closure. If we cannot provide the booked service, or materially change an event, we explain your options under the Refund, Cancellation and Date-Change Policy. A short pause and a complete failure to supply are considered according to the circumstances; no blanket exclusion overrides your rights.
Refunds, complaints and website use
The Refund Policy explains cancellation, date-change and non-supply remedies. Timely date changes have no numerical limit within the approved 48-hour notice window and available capacity. You pay any price increase; a price decrease becomes credit toward a future visit. Approved refunds are initiated within three business days, with additional provider/bank settlement time explained separately. The Privacy Notice explains how information is used. We make it available separately from any optional WhatsApp or future marketing preference.
Contact 079 437 5352 with your reference and concern. We acknowledge within two business days and aim to resolve or provide a progress update within ten business days. Privacy matters are handled by Misheck Mangarateke, Information Officer, using the privacy request routes. These contact routes do not prevent use of an appropriate regulator, ombud, tribunal or court.
Use the website lawfully. Do not interfere with security, access another person's ticket/account, submit fraudulent payments or copy site materials without permission where intellectual-property law requires it. Event creation is restricted to authorized administrators/editors; there is no public event-submission facility.
South African law applies, subject to mandatory consumer rights. Changes to these terms apply prospectively. A later website update does not silently replace the agreement for an existing paid booking. Ask us for the terms that applied to your booking.
